Meet Oppo—also known as Lucky, aka Pinkoo—a true-blue stray with a heart of gold and a tail that never stops wagging. His journey led him to a private housing complex in South Goa, where he quickly won over most of the residents with his boundless energy and free spirit. Though his enthusiasm sometimes earns him a reputation for being a little too eager, there’s no denying his loyalty and charm.
A natural watchdog, Oppo keeps the complex safe, chasing away pesky monkeys, keeping a sharp eye on couriers and delivery folks, and sounding the alarm at the sight of reptiles. But he’s more than just a protector—he’s a companion, always ready to lift spirits with a friendly paw and his infectious joy.
Because of his happy, loving nature, Oppo is the official mascot of our newspaper. Through him, we hope to spread the message of adopting and loving stray animals. These incredible souls give back tenfold in love, companionship, and emotional support. Instead of chasing pedigrees and aesthetics, let’s embrace our pets as family—unconditionally, just as they do for us.
Oppo is nevertheless searching for a permanent home – a place which will compliment his free spirit and keep his mood high.
