Dear Young Minds, Children of India, Parents and Teachers,
I want to share a significant chapter of my life that began during my internship with the remarkable Dr. Mulk Raj Anand, the Chairman of the National Council of Educational Research and Training( NCERT) from 1989 to 1992. He entrusted a group of us, including 4-6 undersecretaries, with raw manuscripts, an experience that ignited my passion for fast reading and a profound love for books. This foundation has been crucial in shaping my lifelong pursuit of knowledge.
In my 32 years in the corporate world, I have been fortunate to mentor over 30,350 youth, parents, and educators. Their eagerness to learn continues to inspire me, and I proudly refer to my workplace, Lawrence & Mayo, as a “Learning & Motivation Company”.
However, it saddens me deeply to witness the challenges our youth face today—issues like peer pressure, unrealistic expectations, and the burden of parental demands can sometimes lead to tragic outcomes. It is essential to remember that every child’s life is precious and with the right support and mentoring, they can achieve their dreams.
This realization inspired me and Lajwanti to create UNMUTE, a platform designed to give young voices the space they need to be heard. Let us come together to nurture our children, support their aspirations and guide them towards a brighter future.
With warm regards,
- To achieve this, it would be necessary to have uniform grammar, pronunciation and more common words.
- If several languages coalesce, the grammar of the resulting language is more simple and regular than that of the individual languages.

The new common language will be more simple and regular than the existing European languages. It will be as simple as Occidental; in fact, it will be Occidental. To an English person, it will seem like simplified English, as a skeptical Cambridge friend of mine told me what Occidental is. The European languages are members of the same family. Their separate existence is a myth.
