NASA has launched Spherex, a space telescope designed to study the entire sky and reveal secrets about the universe’s history. It was sent into orbit on a SpaceX rocket from California and will map hundreds of millions of galaxies.
Spherex will help scientists understand how galaxies formed and evolved and search for water and life-building materials in space. Unlike the Hubble and Webb telescopes, which take detailed pictures, Spherex will observe the soft glow of all galaxies combined, helping researchers see hidden light from the earliest moments after the Big Bang.
The telescope is about the size of a grand piano and will scan the sky four times over two years. To stay super cold (-210°C), it has a special heat shield.
“This telescope is like looking at the universe through rainbow-colored glasses,” said NASA’s Beth Fabinsky. 🌌🔭

The new common language will be more simple and regular than the existing European languages. It will be as simple as Occidental; in fact, it will be Occidental. To an English person, it will seem like simplified English, as a skeptical Cambridge friend of mine told me what Occidental is. The European languages are members of the same family. Their separate existence is a myth.
