Rhea Dadinath in conversation with achievers from different walks of life, who confirm that nothing can replace discipline and determinationon on the path to success

In Palghar, 62-year-old Kiran Kamdar cooks 22 kilos of khichdi every day for over 100 hospital p a t i e n t s — even though she has Parkinson’s disease. She started in 2021 when she saw poor patients skipping
meals. Since then, she, hasn’t missed a single day! She wakes at 5 a.m., stirs giant pots of rice and lentils, and serves them with a smile. Doctors and nurses admire her spirit, and she even won awards. But Kiran asks for no money—only that people help others too. Her story shows that even shaky hands can make strong hearts.
