Stewed Apple & Cinnamon
Drink
Ingredients (Serves 1):
• ½ apple, peeled and chopped
1 cup water or milk
1 small cinnamon stick or ¼ tsp cinnamon powder
Instructions:
1. In a pan, add water or milk, chopped apple, and cinnamon.
2. Boil and simmer for 5-7 minutes until apple is soft and aromatic.
3. Mash the apple pieces slightly or strain the drink if your child prefers it smooth.
4. Serve warm.
• Tip: Great for digestion and works as a natural mild sweetener.

STEWED APPLE AND CINNAMON DRINK

Dry Fruit
Milk (No Sugar)
Ingredients (Serves 1):
1 cup milk
4 almonds (soaked & peeled)
2 cashews (optional)
1 small date or ½ dried
1 pinch cardamom powder
Instructions:
1. Soak almonds, cashews, and date/fig in warm water for 1 hour.
2. Blend soaked dry fruits with a few tablespoons of milk into a smooth paste.
3. Boil the rest of the milk.
4. Add the paste and cardamom powder to milk.
5. Simmer for 2-3 min-utes, stir well.
6. Serve warm.
• Tip: You can make and store the dry fruit paste in the fridge for 2-3 days.

DRY FRUITS

Ajwain-Tulsi Herbal Tea (Caffeine-Free)
Ingredients (Serves 1):
• 1 tsp ajwain (carom seeds)
4-5 tulsi leaves (fresh or dried)
1 slice apple or 2-3
raisins (optional)
1 cup water
Small piece of grated ginger (optional)
Instructions:
1. Bring water to boil in a saucepan.
2. Add ajwain, tulsi leaves, optional apple slice or raisins, and ginger.
3. Simmer for 5-7 min-utes.
4. Strain into a cup and serve warm.
• Tip: Give in small sips
– very soothing during a cold.

AJWAIN TULSI HERBAL TEA

Ragi (Finger
Millet)
Porridge
Drink
Ingredients (Serves 1):
1 tosp ragi flour
1 cup water or milk
1 mashed banana or 1
tsp dates paste
¼ tsp cardamom pow-
der
Instructions:
1. Mix ragi flour in a few tablespoons of cold water to form a smooth paste.
2. Bring 1 cup water or milk to a boil.
3. Add ragi paste slowly, stirring constantly to avoid lumps.
4. Simmer for 5 minutes until thickened.
5. Turn off the heat and mix in mashed banana or dates paste.
6. Add cardamom powder and stir well.
7. Serve warm.
• Tip: Use a whisk to avoid lumps.

RAGI PORRIDGE DRINK

Milk (Haldi
Doodh)
Ingredients (Serves 1):
• 1 cup milk (cow’s or almond milk)
• ¼ tsp turmeric powder
• 1 pinch black pepper (optional but boosts turmeric absorption)
• ¼ tsp cinnamon (for flavor)
• 1-2 soaked dates or 4-5 raisins (optional, for natural sweetness)
Instructions:
1. Boil the milk in a small saucepan.
2. Add turmeric, cinna-mon, and black pepper.
3. Add chopped soaked dates or raisins if using.
4. Simmer on low heat for
3-4 minutes.
5. Strain and serve warm.
• Tip: Skip black pepper for very young kids (under 3).
